Zachary Cameron is the Founder of Valo Macro, a macroeconomic advisory firm specializing in liquidity and business cycle analysis. 

 

He has a degree in International Relations from Loyola Marymount University, where he was awarded Scholar of the Year. While at LMU, he served as the Head East Asian Economics writer for the Sigma Iota Rho national honor society journal. After graduating from LMU, he attended the London School of Economics, where he received a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance. While at the LSE, he won an award for a university-wide monetary policy competition, judged by former Bank of England Governor Sir Charles Bean.

His primary expertise is in understanding monetary conditions and deciphering how these conditions will affect asset prices. This unique expertise led to him becoming a trusted adviser to some of the world's top performing macro hedge funds. Notably, he was one of the few to warn about monetary stress immediately preceding the regional banking crisis.
